11-12-19 FUMC Update

Thanks to everyone who helped do ANYTHING to help make Christmas in the Park great on Saturday! So many people worked hard to bake pies, cobblers, and brownies, to make and serve the stew, to set up and tear down, not to mention those who helped make the quilt and ALL the crafts all year long! I know we also had people working at the new MUSEUM and at the Art and Wine Festival so thanks to EVERYONE who helped raise more than $3000 for the church!
Third Quarter Financial Letters Being Mailed this Week ~ As I mentioned on Sunday, your letter will have a “Prayer Card” in it, a card that invites you to pray about your faith journey and what or how you might grow closer to God in the New Year. On Sunday, November 24, we’ll ask you to drop that SEALED card in the offering plate when it comes by. The cards will remain UNOPENED as the Tuesday morning prayer group prays over your goals, then in January your envelopes will be put away and given back to you, unopened in November 2020. I am praying God blesses you as you talk with Him about your spiritual plans in the New Year.

We hope you’re praying about this new community life group of people who don’t know the joy that comes with belonging to a church family. We now need your help so just come and share your thoughts. Bring a friend who has some ideas to share!

I hope you’re praying about this new community life group of people who don’t know the joy of ABUNDANCE that comes with belonging to a church family. We need your help so just come and share your thoughts at one of these THREE first focus areas or ALL of them:

Thanks to Everyone Who Submitted Pictures and Recorded Videos ~ Art has done a spectacular job shooting/editing our abundance videos and I can’t wait for you to see them all. Some will be on Facebook (did you see Wanda’s from Saturday?) and some will be on Sundays (Ed, yours was great!)

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in

everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed… 2 Corinthians 9:8
